Jacques has been painting landscapes his whole life, and it shows. He goes after big, ancient subjects and builds them in flat, bold colour that doesn't apologize for anything. He signs his canvases JM.
Rachel ne cherche pas à représenter. She is not trying to depict — she is trying to feel. Her canvases are built from colour and contrast pushed to their limit, always chasing the sensation that made her pick up a brush in the first place. She signs her work Rachel.
